ESCP 1st Scientific and Annual General Meeting
The 1st Scientific and Annual General Meeting of ESCP took place in Lisbon on 13-16th September 2006, with a record number of attendees making it one of the most successful meetings yet.

ESCP were delighted to present two prizes for the best abstract submissions.

The winner of Best Oral Abstract was Professor Eric Rullier from France for his abstract "Multicentre Randomized Trial of Sphincter Preserving Surgery for Ultra-low Rectal Carcinona" - abstract number B001.

The winner of Best Poster Abstract was Mr P.J. van Koperen from Holland for his abstract "Long Term Results and Risk Factors for Recurrance After Surgical Treatment for Low and High Perianal Fistulas" - abstract number P278.
