Deadline for applications is 31 December 2019. The aim of the observerships is to assist European surgeons, currently training in coloproctology, to undertake a visit to a centre outwith their home country in Europe.

Eligibility criteria

  • Be a fully paid member of ESCP (i.e. full, affiliate etc.) for a minimum of 12 months
  • Have training in general surgery for a minimum of 3 years
  • Have a manifested interest in coloproctology (evidenced by practice, teaching, research or publications)
  • Can clearly define the benefit to be gained from this experience
