EMCCC 2012 - 6th European Multidisciplinary Colorectal Cancer Congress

The EMCCC provides a platform for in-depth multidisciplinary interaction among various research areas in the field of colorectal cancer. This 3-day event offers a wide range of lectures, scientific updates and case studies of practical implementations. It will also comprise interactive sessions to stimulate exchange of opinions and views that exist amongst colorectal cancer professionals.

The event will focus on updating expertise and exchanging ideas on recent developments of the biology and treatment of colorectal cancer. It will also provide a platform for multidisciplinary interaction intended for specialists and researchers with an interest in medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiotherapy, pathology, gastroenterology, imaging, radiology, basic science, and genetics.

The conference will be hosted by the Dutch Colorectal Cancer Group (DCCG). DCCG is a collaboration between medical disciplines that are relevant for the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer. The last congress, held in 2010, was attended by over 600 participants from more than 30 counties.

The conference will be submitted for CME accreditation.
