For reference, the announcement was as follows:

Following the first UEGF EBM practice course in December, UEGF announce that they will run the second UEGF EBM Practice Course from Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 April 2012 in Vienna, Austria.

UEGF has invited its member societies to nominate up to a maximum of two junior and two senior gastroenterologists with great interest in Evidence Based Medicine, its transfer into clinical practice and application during daily routine. The ESCP Executive therefore now invite applications from junior/senior gastroenterologists who wish to be considered for nomination.

Besides the envisioned balance of experience in form of junior and senior gastroenterologists, no other criteria for acceptance or qualification will apply, but an adequate level of English is required to be able to properly follow the content of the course. UEGF will provide a travel grant of up to €300 and two nights’ accommodation as well as dinners and group meals throughout the duration of the course. A registration fee of €150 will be required from selected candidates to confirm their participation in the course.

Selections will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, so early applications are encouraged. Applicants should email their expression of interest with CV in the first instance to ESCP Secretariat info@escp.eu.com
