We are pleased to again announce that through the continued collaboration between the Japanese Colorectal Society and ESCP, applications for a 1-2 week fellowship to Japan are invited from ESCP members with a special interest in colorectal cancer, and who are senior coloproctology trainees or consultants within 5 years of appointment.

Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, and personal statement of not more than 300 words, by email explaining why such a visit will enhance their careers, to the ESCP secretariat info@escp.eu.com at the latest by 12 noon CET on Monday 13 June 2011.

Professor Koutarou Maeda, of the Japanese Society of Colorectal Surgery has generously agreed to organize and host the visit, and on receipt of the successful applicant’s CV, Professor Maeda will be making a direct application for funding to the Ministry of Health and Labor.
