The deadline for abstract submission is Wednesday 12 May 2010 and has now passed.
Abstracts on any topic in Coloproctology will be considered by the Scientific Committee and may be selected for one of the following groups:
- Group 1: The 6 best oral presentations will be selected to be presented in a special plenary session on Thursday 23 September
- Group 2: Oral presentations will be selected on merit from submitted abstracts and will be presented in parallel sessions, either as Free Papers or Oral Abstracts (but not as part of the poster area)
- Group 3: Lunchtime Posters: a further 90 posters will be selected on merit for a lunchtime poster session (45 on Thursday, 45 on Friday) when authors (or a representative) are asked to be ready for review and discussion with appointed representatives of the Scientific Committee
- Group 4: Poster presenters: all other accepted abstracts will be provided with further details relating to poster boards in due course; there will be no formal poster session and poster boards will be available to all delegates throughout the meeting
Prizes for the winners of groups 1, 2 and 3 will be awarded in the main auditorium.
