Sezione Italiana – European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP)
La European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP) è la principale comunità europea dedicata alla chirurgia colorettale e alla coloproctologia in tutte le sue declinazioni cliniche, formative e di ricerca.
L’obiettivo della Società è promuovere l’eccellenza nella cura dei pazienti, la formazione continua dei professionisti e la collaborazione internazionale nella ricerca.
Il Congresso Annuale ESCP
Il Congresso Annuale ESCP rappresenta la più ampia e aggiornata tribuna europea sui progressi nella chirurgia colo-rettale, offrendo a specialisti e giovani chirurghi un’occasione unica di confronto, aggiornamento e collaborazione internazionale.
L’edizione 2025 si è tenuta a Parigi, dal 24 al 26 settembre 2025, con un programma scientifico di altissimo livello, centinaia di presentazioni e sessioni interattive dedicate alle più recenti innovazioni in chirurgia mini-invasiva, robotica, oncologica e funzionale.
La partecipazione attiva di tutti i soci, attraverso comunicazioni orali, poster, simposi e networking, è fortemente incoraggiata, con numerose opportunità di formazione avanzata e confronto multidisciplinare.
La prossima edizione del Congresso Annuale ESCP è programmata per il 23-25 settembre 2026 e vedrà un’ulteriore espansione delle sezioni dedicate a ricerca clinica, tecnologia digitale, sostenibilità e training chirurgico.

Italian National Section – European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP)
The European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP) is the leading European community dedicated to colorectal surgery and coloproctology in all its clinical, educational, and research aspects.
Its mission is to promote excellence in patient care, continuous professional development, and international collaboration in colorectal research and innovation.
The ESCP Annual Meeting
The ESCP Annual Meeting is the largest and most up-to-date European platform for presenting and discussing advances in colorectal surgery. It offers a unique opportunity for specialists and young surgeons to share knowledge, strengthen international collaboration, and engage in high-level scientific debate.
The 2025 ESCP Congress was held in Paris (Palais des Congrès de Paris, 10–12 September 2025), featuring a world-class scientific programme, hundreds of presentations, and interactive sessions dedicated to innovation in minimally invasive, robotic, oncological, and functional colorectal surgery.
The next 21st ESCP Annual Scientific Meeting is scheduled for 23–25 September 2026!
Active participation of all members — through oral communications, poster sessions, symposia, and networking — is strongly encouraged, providing exceptional opportunities for advanced training and multidisciplinary exchange. The 2026 edition will further expand its focus on clinical research, digital technologies, sustainability, and surgical training.
