Educational: Laparoscopic Skills Course It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of the pre-congress Laparoscopic Skills course at the ESCP Annual Conference in Milan. The Executive considered this decision very carefully and it was difficult to make. We would like to thank all those who have invested their time and energy into this event and make it very clear that this decision is in no way a reflection on the organisation of the course to date. Over the last few weeks it has become clearer that the late re-location of the Annual Meeting is continuing to cause unexpected logistical problems and we now feel the ideal circumstances are not present to deliver the standard of course expected. It is our aspiration to build on this years’ experience in order to offer a high quality laparoscopic skills course next year. |
Course Application Process
The number of places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis by country (one place per country, a second place per country only if application levels permit). You must register and complete your main registration payment in order to be considered for a place.
Registration includes coffee breaks and a light working lunch.
- Apply for your chosen course through the main congress registration; this does NOT guarantee you a place (no course fee will be charged at this point)
- Pay for your main registration
- Complete your 1-page summary of experience and learning expectations and send to the ESCP Secretariat: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
- Applications will be considered by the Education Committee after 1 June in order of receipt and country to ensure fair distribution of places across all ESCP member countries
- Confirmed places will be notified by e-mail and charges will then be added to your online registration.
- Payment for the course must be completed online within 7 days of notification.
