Course Description

ESCP together with the Division of Coloproctology of the UEMS are offering a preparation workshop for the EBSQ examination in coloproctology. This workshop is done in three parts (part I in 2026, part II in 2027 and part III in 2028 in conjunction with the ESCP meeting) and each will prepare you for a successful examination.

The three parts of the workshop will follow the Curriculum for the examination (https://uemssurg.org/surgicalspecialties/coloproctology/curriculum/ ) . The speakers will cover the most important aspects of each topic in a condensed manner and answer your questions.

The EBSQ Examination in Coloproctology includes a written case discussion and two “viva voce” examinations with two pairs of EBSQ certified examiners. The written part is a case description with several questions regarding assessment of the patient and treatment options. The General part includes clinical case discussions with interpretation of diagnostic tools, specimen analyses and local status. The academic part a current publication will be discussed. For more information check the UMES Website (https://uemssurg.org/surgicalspecialties/coloproctology/ebsq-examinations/ )
