ESCP 2026 E-Poster Guidelines

Applicable to e-posters and research ideas e-posters.

Please read the following guidelines carefully when preparing your e-poster. ​

Poster Requirements

Your poster must not exceed the maximum size. You can download the template with pre-set dimensions. You may replace the meeting logo with your institutional logo, if desired.

Poster Upload

The poster upload system is now OPEN! Please carefully review your poster for spelling and grammar before submitting the final version, as only one file can be uploaded. The uploaded file will be reviewed to ensure it meets the technical specifications and will be approved then. Once an e-poster is approved, it cannot be re-uploaded and it will be accessible to all the registered participants on the online conference platform. All posters have to be uploaded via the platform below, not via e-mail.

Upload Deadline: 15 September 2026​

1. 1. Visit the ONLINE MEETING PLATFORM to upload your e-poster.
2. Log in using your e-mail address associated with your ESCP 2026 registration (top right corner - “User login"). You will receive your password by e-mail. Please save it for future use.​
   
3. Click on E-Poster Upload and upload your final poster.
   

Poster Area On-Site

Posters will be displayed throughout the meeting on e-poster kiosks in the Poster area.

There is no separate poster session during the meeting (except the Research Ideas Poster Walk). Presenters are kindly asked to discuss the poster during breaks.

The Poster area is located in the Foyer (2nd floor).

Tips for Preparing your Poster

Posters are a key medium for effectively communicating your scientific research. To maximise impact and clarity, we recommend adhering to the following guidelines.

Content

Each poster should include the following elements.

• A concise, descriptive title
• Full names of all contributing authors
• Authors’ institutional affiliations
• Clear, bullet-pointed text
• Emphasis on the study's aim and conclusions, using bold or coloured fonts to highlight key messages and practical implications
• An introduction outlining the objective of the study
• A brief oral summary to guide discussions, supported by visuals

Pictures and Graphics

Please ensure all images are of high resolution. Use colour and graphics to enhance clarity and visual appeal. Include at least 2 images or figures to illustrate your study design and results.

ESCP Meeting Awards

Abstracts submitted to the Six of the Best, Six of the Best Surgical Video, New Trials Forum, Elevator Pitch (excl. Research Ideas elevator pitch) and E-Poster categories are each eligible for an award for the best abstract presented. Winners are selected based on the highest score.

Shortlisted e-posters were selected based on reviewers' scores, and the winning poster will be selected based on delegate scoring during the meeting.

​The Award Ceremony will take place on Friday, 25 September 2026, 12:00-12:30 in the Congress Hall.
