The ASCRS educational platform: CREST, is being updated to better reflect the growing educational needs of medical professionals. Therefore, from 1 July 2021 ESCP access to CREST will end.

However, it is anticipated that ESCP will be able to bring its members access to the new ASCRS educational platform when it becomes live in early 2022.

In the meantime, ESCP's Education Committee is very excited to share the educational module on complete mesocolic excision (CME) with ESCP and ASCRS members.

The module comprises videos looking at the rationale behind CME, the associated anatomy, the surgical technique and how to deal with complications encountered during CME. It also includes a collection of papers from the journal Colorectal Disease looking at the evidence base for CME. We hope you enjoy the module.
