Eloy Espin talks about the use of robotics at Hospital Vall d'Hebron, and what experience robotics fellows can expect to gain at the centre.



Eloy Espin heads the Colorectal Unit of the Hospital Vall d'Hebron, Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain, and is ESCP President in Waiting.

In this video he talks about the use of robotics in his unit which will soon be the only centre in Spain with three robots. They are finding many advantages using the XI system for some procedures, not to mention improved ergonomics for surgeons.

He also talks about the ESCP Colorectal Robotic Surgery Fellowship which has Hospital Valle De Hebron as one of its host centres. Fellows share all the activity including research and have other opportunities.
