Extended deadline for KSCP and JSCP Fellowships is now Sunday 14 July 2019

Application deadlines for the 2019 Travelling Fellowships to Japan and Korea, which are again organised in partnership with the Japan Society of Coloproctology (JSCP) and the Korean Society of Coloproctology (KSCP), have been extended to Sunday 14 July.

Both initiatives are renowned and proven educational training programmes designed to fuel global collaboration and the professional development of young surgeons.

The successful applicants will be able to travel to Korea or Japan this autumn where they will learn from skilled surgeons and observe a high-volume of quality colorectal surgery and variations in clinical practices. In addition, they will benefit from the exchange of knowledge and ideas and the opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture, forming new connections and friendships along the way.

Muhammed Imran Aslam, Chair of the ESCP Fellowship Committee, said:

“The Travelling Fellowship is an integral part of ESCP’s efforts to improve education in coloproctology and to support trainees in the learning, observation and implementation of clinical practices. Over the last six years, we’re thrilled to report that successful candidates have visited 31 centres in 13 different countries under the ESCP Fellowship Programme.”
