Scientific validation of surgical strategies is necessary to ensure their safety and benefits. It makes responsible evolution of clinical practice possible. Several institutions all over the world are working joining efforts to collect enough data to achieve strong conclusions. On March 30th at 10:30am (UTC+01) Dion Morton from Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Birmingham (UK) will be providing an innovative format to broadcast two surgical procedures and their scientific basis.

The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland (ACPGBI) is funding two travelling fellowships for doctors currently practicing in Eastern European to visit 2-3 colorectal centres in the United Kingdom and Ireland over a two week period, and to attend the 2016 ACPGBI Annual Meeting 4-6 July 2016.

The ASCRS is accepting a second round of applications for the International Traveling Scholarship for attendance at the 2016 ASCRS Annual Meeting and traveling to visit colon and rectal specialty clinics in the US.
