On 30 Nov 2016It was a great honour for me to be selected as the Japanese Society of Coloproctology (JSCP) travelling fellow for the ESCP meeting in 2016. I would like to express my gratitude to the ESCP for the privilege of being granted a three-week fellowship. All my meetings with great European surgeons during this fellowship were fascinating and important experiences for my surgical career.
On 17 Nov 2016I was very fortunate and honoured to be selected as the first ESCP exchange fellow with the Korean Society of Coloproctology. I applied for this fellowship as this allowed me to attend a large Asian colorectal meeting, observe surgical techniques less applied in Europe, like complete mesocolic excision with (D3) central vascular ligation, and to get to know a different health care system, working environment and (professional) culture.
On 10 Nov 2016We are excited to announce that ESCP will be running its third cohort study in February - May 2017. This study will collect data on patients undergoing left sided anastomoses, completing the ESCP’s series of studies about colonic anastomoses.
On 10 Nov 2016The abstract submission site closes Tuesday, November 29 at 11:59 pm EST (US Time).
On 8 Nov 2016From November, ESCP will be highlighting key areas in coloproctology and focusing on a different area each month. By focussing on specific topics, we are encouraging experts to engage with us as well as providing a valuable tool for trainees/students interested in a specific area.
