POSTPONED NEW DATES TO BE CONFIRMED

The second workshop was scheduled to take place on Monday 6 - Tuesday 7 May 2024 at IRCAD in Strasbourg, France.

The ESCP Colorectal Robotic Surgery (CRS) Novice Workshop is transformative journey in the field of colorectal surgery. This workshop is designed for residents/fellows and junior consultants who have access to a robotic platform and are early in their robotic colorectal surgery experience. This immersive course offers a comprehensive learning experience like no other.

The next course will be led by esteemed trainers Carmen Cagigas, Marek Zawadzki, and Rogier Crolla. The workshop will delve into the latest evidence in index colorectal procedures, showcased video operations of key colorectal techniques, and focused on the development of non-technical skills essential for successful robotic surgery. Participants also had the invaluable opportunity to engage in small group hands-on training in simulation and wet lab settings, using an animal model.

This workshop is aimed to equip participants with a deep understanding of the indications and rationale behind robotic colorectal procedures, while honing their fundamental skills in a safe and structured training environment. By the end of the course, participants were empowered to apply their newfound knowledge and skills to enhance their robotic surgery practice.
