ESCP Training Village | 25, 26, 27 September 2024


The goal of the Training Village is to provide a short and structured training experience for colorectal trainees during the Conference.

Registration
This opportunity is reserved for registered ESCP Conference attendees, and primarily intended for trainees and early career practitioners. In principle, there will be no additional fee and registration procedure, unless applicable by the sponsors in charge of the training stations in the Village. For more details on the programme of the stations, please refer to the section below.

Training Village Schedule (times might change):
Wednesday 25 September 2024: 09:00 - 19:00.
Thursday 26 September 2024: 09:00 - 17:00.
Friday 27 September 2024: 09:00 - 13:30.

Station Title: Innovating Fascial Closure after Laparotomy with SutureTOOL

Join us for a unique training experience designed to enhance your skills in abdominal wall closure using the latest techniques and tools. Below you will find all the necessary information about the training sessions and how to sign up.


Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the Science: Learn about the small-bites technique for abdominal wall closure and its benefits in improving surgical outcomes, reducing complications, and shortening patient recovery time.
  2. Hands-on Practice: Gain practical experience using SutureTOOL for abdominal fascia closure.
  3. Knowledge Exchange: Share insights and experiences with leading surgeons dedicated to advancing surgical techniques and outcomes.
