Trial Description

The aim of the study is to compare standard ileostomy reversal (S-IR) with ileostomy reversal with intraoperative antegrade bowel lavage (ABL-IR). The primary study hypothesis is, that the often occurring postoperative bowel paralysis is less likely to occur in the ABL-IR- than in the S-IR-group and therefore the gastrointestinal passage will start earlier in the intervention group.
