The goal of the Training Village is to provide a short and structured training experience for colorectal trainees during the conference.


Registration

This opportunity is reserved for registered ESCP Conference attendees and primarily intended for trainees and early career practitioners. In principle, there will be no additional fee and registration procedure, unless applicable by the sponsors in charge of the training stations in the village.

Station Title: Experience the Next Generation of Stapling Technology for Hemorrhoidal Disease with BBraun

Station Title: Acquire skills and build proficiency using the same da Vinci surgeon console used in surgery

Experience hands-on robotic surgical training using the da Vinci surgeon console and the SimNow 2 simulator. Progress through structured exercises and evaluations, receiving personalised feedback that quantifies your skills, to develop the essentials skills for da Vinci robotic surgery.

Learning Objective:

Begin your journey towards mastering the fundamental skills required to become a proficient da Vinci robotic surgeon. Utilize the SimNow 2 Learning Framework to hone your abilities systematically and effectively.

Evaluation:

Track your performance on the day and access your data anytime through the Intuitive Learning platform for continuous improvement.

Station Title: Innovating Fascial Closure after Laparotomy with SutureTOOL™

Join us for a unique training experience designed to enhance your skills in abdominal wall closure using the latest techniques and tools. Below you will find all the necessary information about the training sessions and how to sign up.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the Science: Learn about the small-bites technique for abdominal wall closure and its benefits in improving surgical outcomes, reducing complications, and shortening patient recovery time.
  2. Hands-on Practice: Gain practical experience using SutureTOOL for abdominal fascia closure.
  3. Knowledge Exchange: Share insights and experiences with leading surgeons dedicated to advancing surgical techniques and outcomes.
