Brief description: Presentation Skills is a full day interactive workshop that offers practical exercises to enhance participants' presentation skills. The format includes lectures, breakout group activities, videos, surveys, and hands-on practice sessions. The ideal cohort size for this workshop is 15-20 participants to ensure an interactive and personal learning experience. Active participant engagement is essential for achieving the workshop's objectives.
Target Audience: This workshop is ideal for registrars/trainees, fellows, professionals, team leaders and anyone looking to improve their presentation skills. Participants should desire to enhance their ability to deliver effective and engaging presentations. Potential participants will be asked to write a motivational letter. Participants will be selected with representatives of Young-ESCP.
Objectives:
- Learn how to cultivate and refine unique styles to make presentations more authentic and impactful.
- Establish an awareness of the techniques to adopt when presenting new or existing data/information.
- Demonstrate how to structure & deliver an effective presentation.
- Handle audience interactions and questions with confidence.
- Gain the skills to create and incorporate engaging visual aids and utilize presentation technology seamlessly.
- Discover various techniques to engage an audience and maintain interest throughout the presentation.
- Build confidence in public speaking abilities through practice, feedback, and mastering critical presentation skills, reducing anxiety and increasing poise.
Outcomes:
- Prepare participants for presenting and moderating at upcoming (ESCP) scientific conferences and increasing their confidence levels.

Captivating Your Audience Format: Lecture, Video Analysis Description: Explore strategies for capturing and maintaining audience attention, such as crafting an engaging introduction and utilizing storytelling. Activity: Watch and analyze video clips of effective presentations. |
