Will the 2020 conference be rescheduled?

Unfortunately not. We cannot guarantee that the reasons for cancelling Vilnius will have abated by later in the year. Furthermore, there are limited venues and times that suit a meeting of ESCP’s size and finding one on such short notice (ESCP typically book 3-years in advance) would be problematic.

What about the 2021 Conference?

Our 2021 meeting will be held online 22-24 September. Stay tuned to our website and social media for updates about the meeting, abstract submission, registration and much more.

What if I have booked travel and/or a hotel?

Unfortunately ESCP are unable to refund any independently booked travel and/or accommodation. If you were in receipt of a grant/bursary to attend and need any further documentation pertaining to the cancellation of ESCP Vilnius, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Will there be any alternative educational content available to members this year?

We appreciate that Vilnius would have offered the chance for our delegates, particularly those in training, to enhance their knowledge of all things colorectal. We will be looking to add some quality content to our Resource Library in the coming months which we hope will be of use.

What about the AGM?

We are currently exploring the best methods of delivering our AGM and this is likely to take place in a virtual environment. Instructions and agenda will be issued in advance as usual, and members will of course have the opportunity to submit their input.
