Embark on a transformative journey in the field of colorectal surgery with the ESCP Colorectal Robotic Surgery (CRS) Novice Workshop. This highly anticipated workshop is designed for residents/fellows and junior consultants who have access to a robotic platform and are early in their robotic colorectal surgery experience. Held at IRCAD in Strasbourg, France, on September 4-5, 2023, this immersive course offers a comprehensive learning experience like no other.

Led by esteemed trainers Carmen Cagigas, Marek Zawadzki, and Giuseppe Spignolio, the workshop delves into the latest evidence in index colorectal procedures, showcases video operations of key colorectal techniques, and focuses on the development of non-technical skills essential for successful robotic surgery. Participants will also have the invaluable opportunity to engage in small group hands-on training in simulation and wet lab settings, using an animal model.

This workshop aims to equip participants with a deep understanding of the indications and rationale behind robotic colorectal procedures, while honing their fundamental skills in a safe and structured training environment. By the end of the course, participants will be empowered to apply their newfound knowledge and skills to enhance their robotic surgery practice.
