The External Affairs Committee (comprising the four Presidential officers and Secretary) are pleased to advise that Per J. Nilsson has accepted their invitation to join External Affairs to coordinate liaison between ESCP and other key societies which is developing significantly at this time. This particularly applies to ECCO, ESSO and UEG with whom we aim to forge stronger relationships.
During his time as a National Representative, and more recently a Regional Representative, Per has developed a deep understanding of how ESCP works and, being already involved the ESCP/ESSO Anal Cancer Guidelines project, he is the ideal person to take this on.
Due to the tasks in hand, the Executive also desire that the post be temporarily seconded to the Executive for a period in order to fully report to them, and this will be put before members at the forthcoming AGM for ratification.
