Next dates for this workshop to be announced. This workshop is designed for residents/fellows and junior consultants only. The ESCP Colorectal Robotic Surgery (CRS) Novice Workshop is transformative journey in the field of colorectal surgery. This workshop is designed for residents/fellows and junior consultants who have access to a robotic platform and are early in their robotic colorectal surgery experience. This immersive course offers a comprehensive learning experience like no other. The next course will be led by esteemed trainers Carmen Cagigas, Marek Zawadzki, Rogier Crolla and Paolo Pietro-Bianchi. The workshop will delve into the latest evidence in index colorectal procedures, showcased video operations of key colorectal techniques, and focused on the development of non-technical skills essential for successful robotic surgery. Participants also had the invaluable opportunity to engage in small group hands-on training in simulation and wet lab settings, using an animal model. This workshop is aimed to equip participants with a deep understanding of the indications and rationale behind robotic colorectal procedures, while honing their fundamental skills in a safe and structured training environment. By the end of the course, participants were empowered to apply their newfound knowledge and skills to enhance their robotic surgery practice. The four webinars in the series can be replayed below. Physiology and Diagnostics > Faecal Incontinence Part 1 > Faecal Incontinence Part 2 > Obstructed Defecation > Supported by Medtronic Spread over four webinars, our series will traverse a wide variety of topics, from the fundamental aspects of physiology and diagnostics to the detailed exploration of conservative and surgical treatments. The first webinar sets the stage with a focus on physiology and diagnostics. We will delve into the impact of diagnostics on decision-making and evaluate whether we're posing the right questions to patients about faecal incontinence and obstructed defecation. Subsequent webinars will dissect the landscape of conservative and surgical treatments for faecal incontinence, including sphincter repair, sacral neuromodulation, and sphincter augmentation. As we transition towards constipation and obstructed defecation, we will assess the efficacy of conservative treatments and the role of surgical interventions. As we journey through this series, each webinar will culminate with a live Q&A session. This will be your opportunity to interact directly with our esteemed faculty, seek their insights, and have all your questions answered on the subject matter. This engaging format will add a dynamic element to each session, creating a unique opportunity for delegates to learn directly from global leaders in the field. Join us on this exciting journey as we navigate these complex conditions, exchange knowledge, and strive for better patient outcomes in Faecal Incontinence and obstructed defecation.
