The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) is now accepting applications for the International Travel Scholarship for the 2018 ASCRS Annual Scientific Meeting. Detailed criteria, eligibility and the application can be found on the ASCRS website.
The deadline for submitting completed applications and all supporting documentation is October 2, 2017.
The scholarship provides funding for young colorectal surgeons residing outside the United States and Canada, to assist with travel to the US for the educational experience of attending the ASCRS Annual Meeting being held 19-23 May 2018 in Nashville, TN. Selection of the scholarship recipients will be based on the applicant's experience and potential to impact the specialty and their community.
