ESCP2026 web 1600x400

Dear colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP), it is my great pleasure to warmly invite you to join us at our Annual Scientific Meeting in Prague in September 2026. This meeting will once again provide an excellent opportunity to come together with colleagues and partners from around the world to celebrate the very best in science, collaboration, and professional exchange within our field.

Following the tremendous success of the Tripartite Meeting held in Paris in September 2025, ESCP continues to strengthen its position as a leading global society in coloproctology. I am particularly proud of the renewed momentum we have given to our educational and research initiatives, which remain central to our mission of promoting excellence in clinical practice and scientific discovery. At the same time, our society continues to grow internationally, welcoming new members and expanding our global reach.

An additional priority for ESCP has been to foster closer collaboration with other surgical and scientific societies. By building strong partnerships and meaningful synergies, we are creating new opportunities for shared learning, multidisciplinary dialogue, and innovation that will ultimately benefit both our profession and the patients we serve.
Looking ahead, the Annual Meeting in Prague will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of 2026. With an outstanding scientific programme and the participation of colleagues from across the globe, the meeting will offer a dynamic platform to exchange ideas, present new research, and strengthen the professional relationships that define our community.

I warmly encourage you to join us in Prague for what promises to be an inspiring and memorable meeting. Together, we will continue to advance our field and shape the future of coloproctology.

I very much look forward to welcoming you in Prague.

Miguel Pera
President of the ESCP
