EAGLE Safe-Anastomosis Study: Recruitment of additional hospitals is now OPEN!
The ESCP Safe-anastomosis Programme in Colorectal Surgery (EAGLE) study has recently randomised its 330th hospital. Due to the success of the study we are now looking for an additional 50 hospitals to join the study and be part of the global EAGLE network which currently spans 65 countries! If your hospital has not already joined, we would be delighted to work with you.

Since the resumption of the study in August 2020, almost 2500 patients from 250 hospitals so far have been entered into the study and over 2000 surgeons from across the world have accessed the EAGLE safe-anastomosis modules. Recently, Policia Militar Do Estado De Minas Gerais, Oncomed in Belo Horizonte, Brazil became the 250th EAGLE hospital to enter patients to the study.
