David Zimmerman ESCP is looking forward to hosting its 6th Regional Masterclass in Rome next month. The masterclass, to be held on the 19 November at Tor Vergata University Hospital, has been organised by long-standing ESCP Education Committee member, David Zimmerman, and Filippo La Torre. ESCP has announced the winner of its best abstract research paper as 'Therapy refractory ulcerative colitis patients may benefit from appendectomy' by Merle Stellingwerf et al at its 13th annual conference in Nice, France this week.

The ESCP Cohort Studies Committee will undertake a robotic cohort study in 2019 which will investigate robotic surgery impact on major complications. This was announced at today’s 8:30am New Trials Forum which, despite the early hour, enjoyed lively insights and ideas exchanges as four new trials were presented for review by an expert panel chaired by Professor Dion Morton.ESCP Secretariat
